The 9th Circle Studio

9th Circle Audio is located in a suburb of Detroit nestled in the heartland of techno and cornfields. We take pride in the role Michigan has played in the evolution of music and strive to support our local businesses such as Detroit Modular and Vintage King. We hope artist world-wide appreciate the contribution Michigan has made to electronic music in the last 50 years. We want to contribute ...

Our studio is specifically designed to record, mix, and master electronic music, especially modular systems and hybrid systems. We have a wide array of equipment that makes the sometime cumbersome nature of analog hardware production simpler, leaving the artist more brain capital to focus on their music.

The fundamental architecture of the studio in centered around Dante and a Physical Analog Switching Matrix. Together, they facilitate completely flexible signal routing between the digital world (through Dante) and the analog world (through a Wolff Pro Patch 128) and mesh all the convenience of computer based, recallable patching with the creative palette of unlimited analog processing flows. Below is a list of everything in the Dante-Wolff matrix. Imagine the possibilities ...
